Rotonda 0.4.1 ‘Melolontha²’ released

We are delighted to announce a new release of Rotonda, version 0.4.1 ‘Melolontha²’.

Rotonda is a programmable, analytical BGP engine, that allows users to gather routing data from various sources, such as routers, routing software and files, and over various protocols, such as BMP, BGP and MRT. Rotonda collects this information in an in-memory database.

Rotonda uses a strongly typed, compiled language, called roto for filtering and creating policies, among others. We're proud to see our roto featured on the front page of Hacker News!

This release introduces two new roto filters that can act on RPKI Route Origin Validation information from an RPKI validator, like Routinator or rpki-client.

In the roto filter language users can now specify lists of ASNs that are compiled in the filter.

There have been some smaller changes and improvements. The full list of changes is available in the release notes.
